Circus Grounds
The circus grounds are located on the outskirts of Rotenburg (Wümme) on a forest clearing in the heart of the Lüneburger Heide. The access road is paved, while the site itself is a meadow. You'll usually have it all to yourself, though the circus children are there during Lower Saxony school holidays. From here you can take trips to Pietzmoor or to Totengrund, where the heathland blooms particularly beautifully. You can reach Bremen with its St. Petri Dom in 43 kilometers.
