A small residual farm on the outskirts of Bad Münder am Deister, nestled between the ridge lines of Deister and Ith. The parking area is located about fifty meters from the farm on a large orchard meadow, kept short by sheep. In spring it smells of blossoming fruit trees. There's plenty of space. Even for groups with multiple vehicles. Shower and kitchen are housed in the old barn, and the barn lounge warms things up when it rains. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Saupark. To Hannover with the Annaturm in the Deister it's about 31 kilometers.1

Annaturm on the Deister
A lookout tower on the crest of the Deister ridge, reached on foot along the forest paths of the Saupark; from the top the view stretches far across the Calenberg Land.
The Ith
The Ith is a narrow limestone ridge with steep rock faces; its crest path is well known among climbers and makes a good half-day walk.
Hannover
Hannover, about 31 kilometres away: the New Town Hall with its Maschpark and the arched lift up into the dome make a good rainy-day outing.
