Camping on the farm near the Lüneburg Heath
A pitch in the heart of Delmsen on a farm right next to the pastures. A herd of Charolais cattle grazes nearby, and in the evenings the sky turns golden over the meadows. Children have a play area with a sandbox and swing. The area is cyclist country: it's three kilometers to the sheep barn in Neuenkirchen, and the heath landscapes near Schneverdingen are another ten kilometers away. Heide Park is also accessible from here. Simple, but that's what you get when you pitch between farm and heathland.1
What Hinterland writes
„The pitch is located on our farm in the middle of the village of Delmsen, right next to the pastures of our Charolais herd. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
For children there is a large play area with sandbox, swing and gymnastic poles.“

Sights in the area1
Pietzmoor
The largest bog in the Lüneburg Heath near Schneverdingen; a boardwalk crosses the dark pools, and on sunny days dragonflies hang in the air. Good for a cool morning.
Totengrund
A heath basin in the nature reserve, purple with blooming heather in August. From the rim you take in the whole hollow, best in the early hours before the tour groups arrive.
Heide Park
The big amusement park near Soltau with roller coasters and rides; the go-to for a day with kids when the farm playground no longer does the trick.
