Camping on the Enz

A farm site near Enzen, with direct access to the Enz river. The pitch is situated on a meadow, surrounded by fields and forest. In the morning you can hear the water. Otherwise peaceful and quiet. Power supply is available at the pitch, fresh water can be obtained up at the farm. Without your own camping toilet, this won't work – the host makes that clear upfront. The Enztal cycle path runs right past, straight through the Naturpark Südeifel. It's about 26 kilometers to Trier with its Roman monuments.1

Sights in the area1

Trier

Some 26 kilometres away lies Trier, Germany's oldest city. The Porta Nigra, amphitheatre and imperial baths fit into a single day, good in the rain too.

Südeifel Nature Park

The Südeifel Nature Park starts right at the site. The Enz valley cycle path and a web of hiking trails run through meadows and woods, flat enough for half a day.
