Camping at the vacation farm in the hinterland of Lake Constance

A holiday farm in Deggenhausertal, on the south slope of Höchsten, about twenty kilometers from Lake Constance. The motorhome stands in the shade of old pear trees at the edge of the sunbathing meadow, with horses and ponies grazing next door. In the mornings, twenty hens lay breakfast eggs, and on weekdays the baker brings fresh rolls to the farm. Tom the cat stops by. In the evenings, the campfire burns, where guests gather; children have the play barn. The Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen on the lake is a short trip away.1
