The Deulowitzer See is located near Schenkendöbern, eleven hectares of water, eight metres at its deepest point. Surrounded by pines and deciduous forest. In the morning it smells of resin, the lake lies still and glassy. The locals from Guben simply call their natural lake the bathtub, and on hot days you understand why. The sand on the beach is fine. Pitches are available for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Dresden and the Fürstenzug are a good hundred kilometres away, Guben on the Neiße is closer.1
