Camping at the Hohes Moor Nature Reserve

The Camping am Naturschutzgebiet Hohes Moor campsite in Heinbockel is situated peacefully between forest and meadows on the edge of the Hohes Moor in the Elbe-Weser Triangle. From the meadow, you can observe wildlife in their natural habitat – a place to unwind and catch your breath. The surroundings are ideal for hiking through the re-wetted moor and cycling tours through the varied landscape. Excursions to the Eidersperrwerk or the Hochdonn railway viaduct round out the program. You can reach Hamburg and the Außenalster in about 49 kilometers.¹
