Camping at Brennerwirt
You are in luck if you need a place to stay, because we have three private pitches for motorhomes and campers! The first is located on the edge of the village with an unobstructed view of the pastures. It is so large, 9x5 meters, that even large caravans feel comfortable here (and XL vehicles too). You may see deer grazing during your break or at night; it seems that these tasty animals know how much sugar is hidden in this meadow at the edge of the forest, waiting patiently behind all the trees...1

Breitachklamm gorge
A deep rock gorge near Oberstdorf, crossed by the Zwingsteg footbridge. Between the wet walls it stays cool and shady, the region's classic rainy-day trip.
Forggensee lake
The largest reservoir in the Allgäu, dammed near Füssen. A flat loop trail runs along the shore, and excursion boats head out in summer.
Buchenegg Waterfalls
Two falls drop into a plunge pool near Oberstaufen, a swimming spot for the brave. The walk over root-laced paths pays off most on hot days.
