Camping at the forest edge near the lake

Three pitches near Löffingen in the Black Forest, surrounded by meadows on two sides. To the east, the view opens across the country road onto Kirnbergsee. It's a ten-minute walk to the water; here you can fish and paddle, and in the nearby forest there's a network of cycling paths. A spot for self-caterers. Food is available in Unterbränd, also a ten-minute walk away. In the evening, the bus stops opposite to take you to the surrounding villages.1

What roadsurfer spots writes

Here you can also fish, paddle, and surf.“

Sights in the area1

Feldberg

The highest summit in the Black Forest. On clear föhn days the view runs across the high Black Forest to the Alps — the classic pick for a long hiking day.

Triberg Waterfalls

The water drops through the forest over several steps; the loop trail runs close alongside and pays off even in rain, when the falls carry the most water.

Freiburg im Breisgau

The university town on the western edge of the Black Forest, a good 40 kilometres away, with its minster and Bächle in the lanes; its local peak Schauinsland has a cable car.
