Campground in Zeitz
If you are looking for a place to sleep and enjoy the night sky, this is your place! The meadow offers a lot of space and a wonderful view. Deer or partridges usually cavort here - but if they're not around, it's just us humans! Sanitary facilities will also be available so we can all stay nice and clean (hopefully). There may also be the opportunity to rent unique farm animals from our neighbors' property, which would make any camping trip more exciting than ever. You'll also feel right at home when you stay here, as the kitchen is close by in the barn, which houses the rooms for guests like you who need a few meals1

Lake Cospuden
A flooded open-cast mine in the Leipzig Lake District with a sandy beach on the northern shore, about 35 kilometres away. The place for hot days when the tent offers no shade.
Leipzig Riparian Forest
One of the largest floodplain forests in Central Europe, running right through Leipzig. In spring the wild garlic stands thick; a green day out without a long drive.
Lake Markkleeberg and Lake Störmthal
Two more post-mining lakes south of Leipzig, linked by a canal. Anyone who likes wind will find sailing and surfing waters here rather than quiet swimming bays.
White Elster
The river that runs through Zeitz and on towards Leipzig. Cycle paths follow the banks, flat enough for a stage with full luggage.
