Campground in Koblenz

The private campsite in Koblenz is located right in the heart of the Mittelrhein region, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers converge. The famous Deutsches Eck with the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Denkmal is only a few kilometres away. The region offers numerous opportunities for culture and nature enthusiasts, with Burg Rheinstein and the Rheinradweg. Cyclists appreciate the proximity to the Lahntal, and the romantic Mittelrheintal with its castles can also be conveniently explored from here. Koblenz city centre is just 3 kilometres away.1

Sights in the area1

Deutsches Eck

The headland where the Moselle flows into the Rhine, marked by the equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I. About three kilometres away, an easy ride.

Rhine Cycle Route

The path follows the river through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, past castles and vineyards. The obvious day trip when the bike is parked in the yard anyway.

Lahn Valley

The Lahn joins the Rhine opposite Koblenz; head upstream and it turns quiet fast. The counterweight to the traffic on the Rhine.

Thurant Castle

Twin-towered castle above the Moselle near Alken, long fought over in the 13th century. The view of the river bends from the keep repays the climb.
