The pitch is located on private property in Kemnitz, behind a hedge, opposite the barn. Walk around it and the Bodden lies before you. In spring the frogs croak, in autumn the cranes migrate. It's not always quiet. There's no toilet or shower, but the hosts top up up to 20 liters of fresh water per night. It's about a kilometer's walk to the bathing spot in the nature reserve, and kite surfers know this area well. Many continue from here to Usedom or Rügen. Fresh milk can be tapped at the farm two kilometers further on.1
