Altenbeken

View to the viaduct and railroad station

A narrow hillside meadow above Altenbeken, barely ten meters wide and a good hundred meters long. The view extends to the viaduct, over which trains roll. Two terraces are laid out for tent, car or camper van. Below is a fire pit, with wood to be collected from the neighboring forest. The Viadukt hiking trail begins right at the site. To reach the village with its shop and ice cream parlor, it's a short walk; by bike you can roll to Bad Driburg. In the evening: chimney smoke and a distant train.1

What VanSite writes

„You'll be parked on a beautifully situated meadow on the slope with views of the viaduct and train station. We've created two terraces (4mx4m and 4mx6m) that can be used as tent pitches, but are also accessible by autonomous vehicles and campervans.“
