This beautiful and historic house is a must for anyone who wants to experience what life was like in Bavaria before modernity. In the village center there are many bars, restaurants (including some with traditional German cuisine), stores and even an ice cream parlor, which is located directly across from your accommodation! This is also where my favorite place is located: The Haus des Gastes - which means "hostel", but here you won't feel like a field hockey dad at all; it offers plenty of space and comfortable beds to settle down in after a day of exploring....¹
