Old sports field Hofolpe

An old sports field in the forest near Hofolpe, part of the municipality of Kirchhundem. Two campers can find space here without cramping each other's style. Electricity is available, and a carport with seating keeps the rain off. In the evening, the fire barrel burns, with kindling already laid out. In the morning, it smells of forest and damp grass. The old playground equipment keeps the children entertained, and there's plenty of space for dogs to roam. All around, hiking trails and bike routes wind through the Rothaargebirge. It's not far to the Hofolper Wildgehege.1
