A meadow near Furth im Wald that slopes downhill across its entire length. If you park here, you'll be laying down boards and wedges and still leveling out. For one night it works. On wet grass, all-wheel drive helps when maneuvering; with front-wheel drive it gets sluggish. The host welcomes you personally and shows you the spot. Once your van is level, what remains is mainly the view. All around the Upper Palatinate Forest, where the Höllbach flows through the Waldnaabtal.1
