An old tennis court in SZ, asphalted and beautifully level — you park right in front of the building instead of on the meadow next door. Houses on the slope all around, forest behind them. It stays quiet during the day. The site is better suited for vans and motorhomes; if you come with a roof tent, you'll have a harder time with the toilets. The lounge is closed due to vandalism, which is a shame. With a dog, you walk a bit and then it gets green. It's about nine kilometers to Salzgitter, where you'll find Salzgittersee and the Bismarckturm; the Harz begins to the south.1
