AlpacaCamping 2189
A pitch near Seesen, on the edge of the Harz — the host doesn't reveal any more in advance, so there's nothing more to say here either. From guest feedback: quick, personal booking confirmation and a warm welcome. You choose your pitch yourself. There's space for tents, motorhomes and caravans. The surroundings do the rest. Salzgittersee is around 27 kilometers to the north, perfect for a day at the beach. In the other direction, paths lead into the Harz, up to the Brocken, which is often shrouded in clouds.1

Sights in the area1
Brocken & Brocken Railway
At 1,141 metres the highest peak in the Harz, often wrapped in fog. If you'd rather not hike, the steaming narrow-gauge railway carries you to the top — the trip for grey days.
Teufelsmauer
A bizarrely weathered sandstone ridge on the northern edge of the Harz, the Hamburger Wappen one of its best-known rocks. The crest path is short and easy enough with children.
Salzgittersee
A bathing lake to the north, around 27 kilometres away, with lawns and a path around the water. The swim day for when the valley gets too hot for the mountains.
