A meadow on the edge of Schneverdingen, in the heart of the Lüneburger Heide. There are two pitches: one in front of the bakehouse, one behind the barn. Electricity and water are connected directly to the plot. The road is two hundred metres away and barely audible, and you won't notice the holiday cottages next door. The tarred field paths are perfect for walking and cycling, and no cars pass through here. In the morning, only birdsong. Hamburg is around 58 kilometres away, and Pietzmoor is just nearby.1

Pietzmoor
The largest raised bog in the Lüneburg Heath, right by Schneverdingen. A boardwalk leads across the dark water, and in late summer the heath blooms all around — the area's best walk.
Totengrund
A juniper-lined hollow near Wilsede, deep purple all over in August. Best in the early morning, before the horse carriages arrive.
Brunsberg
One of the higher rises in the northern heath, with a wide view over juniper and pines from the top. A short climb that pays off on a clear day.
