A spot on the outskirts of Oberschwarzach, right next to the bikepark in the Steigerwald. If you're not sitting on a bike, you'll hear the chain rattling as the next descent begins. Next door is a playground where grandparents can find a bench too. Tent, motorhome and caravan all fit here. In the evening, head to the local winemaker where you can still pick up something for the table. The Aurach with its old ford is a bit of a way away, and Würzburg is around 35 kilometres away. There's plenty going on, but you'll need to find your peace and quiet in the evening yourself.1
