Ingersleben

AlpacaCamping 1075

A meadow at the edge of Ingersleben, well-maintained, mowed roughly every four weeks. A farm track leads from here to a nearby woodland; dog owners from the village use it too, and you can see the evidence along the wayside. Sometimes at the entrance as well. Those who can live with that have found a quiet spot in the Börde. Short-cropped grass, little else. To Wolfsburg with the Allersee is about 27 kilometers, an afternoon is enough for that.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„A lovely, quiet spot on the edge of the village. A meadow path leads from here to a nearby wooded area. This is also used by local dog owners. There are occasionally dog droppings along the path.“

Sights in the area1

Allersee

A lake on the edge of Wolfsburg, about 27 kilometres away, with a sandy beach and a path around it. Worth the trip on the hot days when the meadow offers no shade.

Autostadt Wolfsburg

Volkswagen's works park on the Mittelland Canal, with glass car towers and a vehicle museum. Much of it is under cover, which makes it the rainy-day standby here.

Magdeburg Cathedral

The first Gothic cathedral built on German soil, visible from far across the Elbe. A morning is enough for the nave and the cloister.
