Lohra

In Lohra on a farm #1

Hello! We are a small, family-run farm in the region of Hesse. Our pitch is right next to our barn and you can enjoy fresh milk from your own cow for breakfast every morning, as well as eggs laid by one of our hens who loves it when you scratch her in just the right spot under her wings when she's been sitting on them long enough. At night, you'll sleep in the pasture where all sorts of animals like cows, horses, cats and bees run around doing their thing - what could be better? Dogs love it here too (friendly or not), so bring yours for an extra charge depending on the size/breed we agreed on before arrival). Who is looking1

Sights in the area1

Marburg Old Town

Half-timbered lanes, stairways and the landgraves' castle above the Hessian university town. Half a day is enough, if you factor in the climbs.

Siegen

About 46 kilometres away, with the Sauer confluence in the middle of town and the Höckerlinie on its edge. The place to go on a rainy day.

Frankenberg Wildlife Park

Enclosures with native game at the edge of the Burgwald forest in northern Hesse. The standard choice when children are along and a morning needs filling.
