Petersau

Petersau riding facility is the perfect place for horse lovers. You can ride your own horse or one of our horses through beautiful fields, pastures and forests. Roman winery Weilberg

The Roman villa on Weilberg is a perfect example of how to combine culture and nature in one place. You can take a tour of this historic site, enjoy a wine tasting and even stay overnight!

Lake Lambsheim

The Lambsheimer See is an idyllic bathing lake with a restaurant and a beach bar. You can find it in Leiningerland, just outside of Cologne. It is perfect for families or groups of friends who want to relax by the water on a hot summer day.

Frimmpark

Pfrimmpark is the perfect place for this. The park has many benches, tables and trees to sit under. There is also a small river that runs through the park with ducks swimming in it! It's a great place to take your kids or just spend some time alone.

Battenberg castle

The castle was built on a hilltop between Kleinkarlbach and Bobenheim/Berg near the Murbach. It was first mentioned in 1359 as the property of Count Johann von Leiningen and his wife Agnes von Sponheim. In 1406 it passed into the possession of Duke Ludwig III of Bavaria-Landshut, who had married Elisabeth of Leiningen (Johann's daughter). After this date it became known as "Leiningen Castle" or "Battenberg Castle".

Old city wall and iron gate

The Old City Wall and Iron Gate in Leiningerland is one of the best preserved city walls in Germany. It also houses some of the nicest stores and restaurants you'll find anywhere. So if you want to experience something truly unique, visit this historic landmark today!
