Tent site / pitch protected from the weather (no longer in heavy rain) under large pasture. Optionally also on large meadow. Guest toilet use in the house possible, also for longer stays, if needed for cooking. Vegetables and eggs from own cultivation available, if needed for cooking - please ask in advance! Frauenkirche, the Fürstenzug mural and the skyline above the Elbe lie about 42 kilometres away; one day is enough to walk the main sights.
Elbe Meadows and Elbe Cycle Path
The cycle path follows the Elbe straight through Dresden and further downstream, with open meadows along the bank. Flat enough for a day without climbs.
Pillnitz Palace and Park
Summer residence of the Saxon electors on the bank of the Elbe, with a wide park of old trees. The fallback when the old town gets too crowded.
Blaues Wunder Bridge
The steel Elbe bridge between Blasewitz and Loschwitz, standing since 1893 without a pier in the river. The funiculars up the hillside start here.
