The site is an open and spacious field with a small forest in the background. Ground cover here consists of taller grasses, fading flowers, occasional shrubs or vines that grow upward in search of sunlight. Open space means it's easy to pitch your tent without getting in anyone else's way, but you might want to stay close by if there are mosquitoes around! There is running water trickling through the mossy rocks in this area, which is great for collecting fresh drinking water - just bend down and hold your hands under the stream if you need to!¹
