Campground in Brietlingen

You can also rent kayaks on the Neetze River next door, which has both calm waters and whitewater rapids (so watch out!). Another option is to rent a canoe nearby so you can go deep into the unspoiled nature of Germany all day long! There are sinks, but no showers - sorry about that - but don't worry, there are also some fire bowls if you need them after the camping adventures have left everyone cold and hungry from roasting marshmallows by nightfall¹
