Wilsdruff

AlpacaCamping 1082

A meadow behind the host's residential house in Wilsdruff, with solid ground that holds up even after rainy days. It stays quiet all around. Nico has a tip for almost every question, such as about the milk vending station in the neighborhood or the next cycling route. Electricity and water are connected, the sanitary facilities are unconventionally built and spotlessly clean. Anything that's missing can be found in the small farm shop. It's about 20 kilometers to Dresden, including the Elbe meadows and the Frauenkirche.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„The campsite impresses with its spacious and well-maintained facilities as well as a lovingly designed atmosphere. The creative and very clean sanitary facilities are particularly noteworthy.“

Sights in the area1

Frauenkirche and Dresden Old Town

The rebuilt domed church sits in the middle of the old town, about 20 kilometres away; half a day is enough to take in the Fürstenzug and the Zwinger as well.

Elbe Meadows and Elbe Cycle Route

The route follows the Elbe straight through Dresden and on upriver. Flat and signposted throughout, the right trip for a full day in the saddle.

Pillnitz Palace and Park

A summer residence in chinoiserie style on the Elbe east of Dresden. The park with its old camellia is worth it even without going inside, when the queues build up.
