AlpacaCamping 1568

A site in the middle of green countryside near Tengen in the Hegau, surrounded only by fields. Plenty of grass so that the awning fits too. If you bring a dog along, you'll find plenty of paths right outside your door for long walks between the fields. During the day, the wind blows across the fields. Otherwise, not much happens. It's about 67 kilometers to Freiburg im Breisgau. Closer is the small town of Stein am Rhein with its painted façades.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„Very beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Plenty of space so we spontaneously decided to set up the awning. Perfect for dogs since there are only fields all around for great walks.“

The Swiss town where the Rhine leaves the Untersee, known for the painted timber houses on the town-hall square. A stroll through the old town fills an afternoon.

Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen

Reconstructed pile dwellings on the shore of Lake Constance near Unteruhldingen, built as in the Stone and Bronze Age. The walkway over the water is worth it even in dull weather.

Hohentwiel

The Hohentwiel near Singen, an old volcanic cone with one of Germany's largest fortress ruins. From the top the view stretches across the Hegau to Lake Constance.
