AlpacaCamping 1560
At Jürgen and his family's place in Reichenbach, you're situated on a small access road, yet it remains peaceful. Just around the corner is a self-service farm shop with local products and ice cream from the freezer on hot days. All around are forests and meadows, with hiking trails winding into the Bavarian Forest. If you've forgotten something at home, you'll get help here. The site is simple, but in the evenings you hear little more than your own driveway. Rißlochwasserfall and Geißkopf are ready as day trip destinations.1
What AlpacaCamping writes

Sights in the area1
Rißloch Waterfalls (upper walkway)
One of the highest waterfalls in the Bavarian Forest near Bodenmais. The walkways follow the cascade uphill, a good half-day on foot.
Geißkopf
A mountain with a bike park and a wide network of trails. Those who don't ride walk up the forest roads and watch the downhillers.
Kötztinger Hütte
A mountain hut on the Kaitersberg, the stop-off for longer tours along the ridge. From up there the view stretches far across the foothills.
Ingolstadt
The nearest larger town, about 84 km away. An old town on the Danube with its historic arsenal, the outing for a rainy day.
