AlpacaCamping 2343

Thank you for stopping by our farm! We are pleased that the whole family can experience with us pure nature and idyllic places on one of the most famous rivers in Germany: The Danube. And all this right here, across from historic buildings like the UNESCO World Heritage City of Regensburg, or right in the city if you're visiting friends - and all this in a place where dogs (and cats) are also welcome.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„Very nice, spacious and peaceful site. Located close to the Donau cycle path, ideal for cycling trips to Straubing and Regensburg. The hosts are very friendly, we had a wonderful weekend.“

Sights in the area1

Regensburg

The medieval old town is a Unesco World Heritage site. Cross the Stone Bridge to reach the cathedral and lanes — the go-to for a grey day by the river.

Straubing in the Gäuboden

An old ducal town in Bavaria's granary; the long market square with its tower is worth an afternoon. In August one of Bavaria's big folk festivals fills it.

Danube Cycle Path

The long-distance route follows the Danube almost flat, both up- and downstream. A day in the saddle without a climb, past floodplain woods and gravel banks.
