AlpacaCamping 6
A meadow at the edge of the village of Oberschwarzach in the Steigerwald, space for tent or caravan. Water is available, WLAN comes and goes. It's not completely quiet: towards the main road, the wind occasionally carries traffic noise, and those arriving in spring might experience the first grass cutting of the year, with tractor and mower working across the meadow for hours. If you can live with that, you're right in the middle of wine country. It's around 35 kilometers to Würzburg, and you can cycle through the Aurachtal.1
What AlpacaCamping writes
„A really lovely spot on a meadow at the village's edge. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any confirmation of our registration in advance. While this isn't strictly necessary, other campers from a different alpaca provider were relocated that weekend.“

Sights in the area1
Aurach Valley
The valley of the Aurach river in the Steigerwald, with an old ford across the water. A flat cycle route through the surroundings when the site itself offers little.
Würzburg
The Franconian city on the Main, about 35 km away. The market square, the Leonhard-Frank riverside promenade and vineyards above town fill a rainy day.
Steigerwald
The wooded hill country between the Main and the Aisch, known for wine villages and long trails. The Eberhard Trail runs across the ridges.
