Neustadt am Rübenberge

AlpacaCamping 2380

A spot in the forest near Neustadt am Rübenberge, at a location that the hosts themselves call a "lostplace". During the day you're surrounded by trees, at night it becomes truly quiet. There's not much going on here in terms of activities. There's space for tents and motorhomes. It's around twenty kilometers to Hannover, and Steinhuder Meer, the largest lake in northwestern Germany, is nearby. In the morning: just the forest.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„Nice hosts at a "lost place" in the forest. 🌳 Absolutely peaceful. Happy to return.“

Sights in the area1

Steinhuder Meer

The largest lake in north-western Germany, shallow and often windy. Sailors and kitesurfers are at home here; a short trip from the site is enough for a day at the beach.

Hannover

The state capital lies about 20 kilometres away. The New Town Hall mirrors in the Maschteich pond, ringed by the Maschpark; the go-to city day when rain sets in over the forest.

Weser-Radweg

West of here the Weser Cycle Route runs along the Middle Weser, flat and family-friendly. The half-timbered town of Nienburg makes a good day's ride.
