Caravan & Motorhome Pitch in Dischingen
A pitch in the countryside near Dischingen, perfect for hiking. The site is located on a road, but only residents drive there; a car rarely passes by. Otherwise: peace and quiet. In the morning, you'll mainly hear the birds, and during the day hikers set off. It's not far to the Nördlinger Ries, that ancient meteorite crater with Nördlingen's city walls and the Ries Crater Museum. It's a good forty kilometers to Ulm.1

Sights in the area1
Nördlinger Ries
A meteorite impact carved this wide, round basin ages ago. The Ries Crater Museum in Nördlingen explains the crater and shows real Moon rock — the rainy-day classic of the area.
Nördlingen
The little town sits inside the crater, ringed by a fully walkable town wall. From the church tower, the Daniel, you can see across the rooftops to the crater's edge.
Ulm
A good forty kilometres on, Ulm Minster carries the tallest church steeple in the world. Climb the stairs to the top for a wide view over the city and the Danube.
