A lookout tower above the Knüll hills; from the platform you take in the wooded ridges all around, far into the Hessian uplands. The worthwhile detour for a clear day.
Fulda cycle path
The river cycle path follows the Fulda down the valley, flat and mostly shaded by the water meadows. From Rotenburg, the easy half-day ride with no real climb.
