Bollendorf

AlpacaCamping 506

A hotel meadow above Bollendorf, high up in the South Eifel. The view stretches far and wide, which is reason enough to stay. The meadow isn't always mowed; there's plenty of buzzing in the tall grass. The showers are down in the sauna cellar, rather dark. The beer garden is worth visiting, though service takes a while; things move faster inside the restaurant. The site isn't cheap. It's not far to Wolfsschlucht at Ferschweiler Plateau, and in the morning the mist still hangs over the Sauer.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„We stayed overnight on the meadow in front of the hotel. The view is really fantastic. Unfortunately, the meadow hadn't been mowed and was very overgrown, which attracted a lot of insects. The showers in the sauna area in the basement are very dark.“
