Berglen

AlpacaCamping 906

Orchard meadows on the edge of Berglen, east of Stuttgart. Daniel manages the meadows organically; overnight stays are among the fruit trees, with tent, motorhome or caravan. The description doesn't reveal much more, and so there's nothing more to say here either. In the morning, the smell of damp grass hangs over the meadow, with blackbirds in between. It's not far to the Grabkapelle on the Württemberg, and Stuttgart is around 23 kilometres away. Those who come should bring water and be content with little in terms of activities.1

What AlpacaCamping writes

„Hello AlpacaCamper,

with us you can spend the night in the middle of nature on our organic orchards.

We are looking forward to you!

Kind regards

Daniel“

Sights in the area1

Grabkapelle auf dem Württemberg

This round mausoleum sits on the Rotenberg above the vineyards along the Neckar. The view from the top rewards the short climb and pairs well with a walk through the vines.

Schloß Solitude

A Rococo palace on the heights west of Stuttgart, reached by a dead-straight avenue. The forecourt is open to all, with a view far across the land.

Bärenschlössle

A former hunting lodge by the Bärensee lake in the Rotwildpark, deep in the forest. The loop around the lakes is the family classic near Stuttgart, shady in summer.
