Göltzsch Viaduct
The largest brick-built bridge in the world spans the Göltzsch valley. From below the four tiers of arches look massive, trains still run across the top. A short detour is enough.
Chemnitz
About 57 kilometres away. Rabenstein Castle and the Chemnitz valley cycle path with its old railway tunnel fill a day on the bike, the city centre a rainy one.
