Westerwald Camping by the Campfire
A small site in the Westerwald, just a few metres outside Weitefeld, where the farm tracks begin. In the morning and evening, deer and squirrels cross the meadow; during the day, children have plenty of space to run around. There is hardly any through traffic. In the evening, wood is burnt at the fixed fire pit, and above the spruces, the starry sky stretches out. Forest paths lead without main roads all the way to Hachenburg with its castle and to the wildlife park in Bad Marienberg. You can get bread and essentials in the village.1
