Wildlife Park Rheinböllen
A paved parking lot in front of Tierpark Rheinböllen, designed for self-sufficient campers without electricity and water connections. Arrive from seven in the evening and you'll be first in the park the next morning when the forest, lakes and animals wake up. A picnic basket with fresh coffee is available on request. Rhine Cycle Route
The cycle path follows the river through the Middle Rhine valley, past castles and vineyards. Mostly flat and well signed — the easy day trip once the animal park is done.
