Orchard meadow at the foot of the Walberlas

The meadow orchard in Wiesenthau is located in Steigerwald, directly at the foot of Walberlas with a wide view over the landscape. In mid-April the meadow is in full bloom, and in autumn you are welcome to harvest a few apples for your own consumption. The surrounding paths are ideal for cycling and hiking tours, for example up to Ehrenbürg or to the sinter terraces of Lillach, and you can reach inns, bakeries and butchers in just a few minutes. Erlangen is only 18 kilometres away, and you will find a swimming pool just 8 kilometres away.1
