The house is a two-story, white clapboard house that has been in the family for generations. To this day, it is used as a venue where smaller weddings and corporate parties are held to celebrate important milestones such as anniversaries or retirements. The farmhouse was built by my great-grandparents around 1930 when they moved from their original home to the land now occupied by the mall on Highway 190, because people had more space then than they do now, with new housing developments popping up everywhere that you can't escape no matter which direction you go, even if you're camping, where there used to be plenty of space before the power lines attracted so many other energy-hungry businesses that have encroached on everything¹
