Pitch by the pine forest
A small campsite at the forest edge in Am Mellensee, just a few metres from the water and about a hundred metres behind the agility course. Dogs are explicitly welcome here; if you fancy it, you can practise agility or sit by the lake with a fishing rod. In the morning it smells of pine. Otherwise you hear very little. Potsdam with Sanssouci is a good forty kilometres away. You can hike around the gypsum pits, and there's a public beach for swimming. The riding stable is just a few steps away, a five-minute walk.1
What Hinterland writes
„Nestled between forests, fields and lakes, our campsite is located right at the forest's edge, just a few meters from the lake. Our small pitch is situated approximately 100 m behind the agility course. Dogs are expressly welcome with us.“

Sights in the area1
Sanssouci Palace and Park
The rococo palace and its terraced gardens in Potsdam, a good forty kilometres away; the day trip that works in rain or shine.
Wannsee and the Havel lakes
The bathing lakes and steamer piers on the edge of Berlin; a long day by the water when the lake outside the pitch feels too quiet.
Müggelsee
Berlin's largest lake in the south-east of the city, with wooded shores and excursion boats; worth it to see the big city from the water.
