In Koblenz, about 14 km downriver, the Rhine and Moselle meet at the Deutsches Eck, watched over by the vast Kaiser Wilhelm monument — the obvious choice for a first day out.
Rhine Cycle Route
The long-distance path follows the Rhine through the valley, mostly flat and away from traffic; from Kamp-Bornhofen it works as a day trip in either direction.
