Bad Nenndorf
An old spa town at the foot of the Deister hills, known for its sulphur springs and spa gardens. On a rainy day there are the pump room and long avenues.
Hannover
Hannover lies about 31 kilometres away, with its New Town Hall on the Maschpark; the arched lift up into the dome is the classic for a day in the city.
