A place by the sea, the Baltic Sea in front of the door
A pitch at the Eckernförder Bucht near Altenhof, with the Baltic Sea right in front of your wheels. In the morning, seaweed and salt drift across; during the day your gaze stretches across the water to the opposite shore. The site is basic: there's a toilet if the neighbouring facility is open, electricity and water by arrangement. Large rigs must stay outside. It's three kilometres to Eckernförde town centre, twenty to Kiel. Those who fancy it can walk along the steep cliff or explore the Schlei. Dogs are welcome.1
