A meadow near Wetterzeube OT Trebnitz, by a small stream, surrounded by fields and forest. The last two hundred meters lead along a farm track, leaving the residential houses behind. In the morning the stream babbles, otherwise things are quiet. The ground is meadow, not paved: in rain you get stuck, as the host himself says. The farm is three hundred meters further on, someone is there if you have questions. Intended for one or two nights. On Saturday morning the baker's van stops in the village. Jena is about twenty-nine kilometers away.1

Leipzig Lake District
Flooded former mines with sandy beaches at Lake Cospuden, further north towards Leipzig. The place for hot days, when the meadow bakes in the sun.
