A former imperial town with timber-framed houses around the market square, twenty minutes by car. The rainy-day standby when the meadow is soft anyway.
Ulm Minster
The tallest church steeple in the world, 768 steps up to the viewing platform. Some 54 kilometres away, so it takes a whole day.
