Camping on the sports ground
The sports field of FSV Feldkahl near Hösbach, right in the middle of the Spessart. From here you can walk or cycle directly into the surrounding forests. Next door is an 18-hole golf course; in the mornings the dry crack of wood against ball echoes from the first tee. The A3 is five minutes away; you hear little from it. To be honest: there may be an event at the sports hall now and then. So far, nobody has minded. Otherwise it's quiet.1
