Altmühltal · Treuchtlingen

At the wild bath

A meadow with ancient trees atop the Hahnenkamm, just outside a small village near Treuchtlingen. The property sits secluded—you won't see it from the road. There's a fire pit and a wooden hut. In the evening, the fire crackles beneath the old trees, otherwise it stays quiet. During the day, the path leads down into the Altmühltal; it's just a few winding curves downhill to Solnhofen with its limestone slabs. Little activity, plenty of space.1
