Eilsleben

Adventure playground/festival grounds Allerwiesen

An old pump station from 1870 in Eilsleben, down by the water tower, directly on the Aller. The grounds are both adventure playground and festival meadow: tree swings, a cable car, a fire pit. The view stretches far across the Aller meadows. Electricity comes from our own storage and is limited — heating and air conditioning are out of the question, self-sufficiency is the rule here. No glamping. Instead, a composting toilet and outdoor shower. Cycle paths run through the meadows, with Magdeburg around 31 kilometers away.1

What Hinterland writes

„Want to camp on a pretty extraordinary festival site?
Then this location might be just right for you…

Old Pump Station (approx. 1870) idyllically located at the foot of Eilsleben Water Tower, directly on the Aller River.“

Sights in the area1

Magdeburg

The state capital sits about 31 kilometres away. The old lift bridge over the Elbe and the historic vehicles carry you through a grey day.

Teufelsmauer (Devil's Wall)

The jagged sandstone ridge runs through the northern Harz foreland; one section is called Hamburger Wappen. A day trip for walking when you want to head further out.

Brocken Railway

The steam train puffs up to the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz. The classic outing once the kids have worn the site out.
